Tip#1

Very Smart thinking!

If you are talking about the Red Desert Drawers unit, then you would have noticed the extra holes near the top of the uprights...

I was curious enough and moved some of the bearings from the lower holes to the top holes. And found that it left a gap of 20mm...

I have since made a track of 20mm shs and two bits of angle as well as 12 bearings, bolts and nuts and 48 washers...

Total cost $20 for the 12 bolts 12 Nylok and 48 washers...
$35 for the 12x6200 bearings...
Already had the angle and 20x20mm blue steel...
And several beers of choice....
I now have a fridge slide just as strong as the drawers and still full use of both drawers!

When it has no fridge in the vehicle, it still looks exactly the same as any other, and no fridge slide on top for the dog to trip over.

Tip#1 another Version

All that is required is 12 x 6200 bearings
12 x bolts,Nylock nuts and 48 washers
2x 990mm 20mm SHS
and some angle line depending on size of fridge.

Place the extra bearings into the existing holes using the washers behind it, to space it away from the wall.

Make two new tracks from the 20x 20mm square Hollow section, max length 990mm from memory.

It is a good idea to go this maximum length, because then the bottom draw will hold it all tight and no need for a catch.

And no rattles so far.
I also removed the angle line that was originally attached to the centre upright...

I only removed this as far as required (Depending on fridge size)
And reused it by attaching it the the right handside of the right hand upright.

This will re-enforce it as I also trimmed 20mm of the top lip that would normally hold the floor.
